Turkey Dinner Giveaway
Turkey dinners will be available for pickup at North Light on Monday, November 23rd.
We are partnering with Villanova University to give away over 150 turkey dinners to families and individuals in need this Thanksgiving! To apply, please fill out the form linked above.
Details:
- You must pick up your dinner at North Light on Monday, Nov 23rd. We are located at 175 Green Ln, Philadelphia PA 19127.
- Filling out this form does not guarantee you will receive a turkey dinner, but we will accommodate as many applicants as possible.
- Priority will be given to our current participants, and residents of 19127, 19128, 19129, and 19144 zip codes.

Food Pantry
Entry to our Food Pantry begins at 9:45AM on Mondays and Fridays.
Verification of address and income via the Food Pantry Application are required at initial intake and renewed annually.
Our Mission is to empower people of all ages and abilities in our communities, especially those most in need, to reach their fullest potential as productive and responsible citizens through initiatives that support and enrich children, teens, and families. We provide both fresh and nonperishable food, as well as other grocery related items available to food insecure households. We seek to provide nutritional foods to constituents who depend on our program to supplement and sustain their households.
Through a partnerships with Small Things and Philabundance, with funding from ShopRite, North Light has access to the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank. Through the Grocers Against Hunger program, Acme (Roxborough), Target (City Line) and Whole Foods Market (Plymouth Meeting) supply a wide variety of fresh foods and grocery items twice each week. Non-perishable items are donated from food drives from over 100 individuals and organizations including local schools, churches, and businesses.
As of August 31st, we will no longer be offering food deliveries.

Housing and Utility Assistance Program
This program is run on periodic grant funding and is currently closed. We will announce when it reopens.
