Matching Gifts: You may increase your contribution to North Light if your workplace or that of your spouse has a matching gifts program. See your company’s Human Resources Office for information.

Special Events: North Light hosts a number of fundraising events during the year to help support our organization.

Gifts In-Kind: A gift-in-kind is a non-cash gift or service that would be of value to North Light such as a computer, athletic equipment, office furnishings, etc. 

EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit): Businesses and individuals can support us and receive substantial tax benefits at the same time. Eligible contributors can receive a tax credit equal to 90% of their Pennsylvania state tax liability. For more detailed information on the EITC program and how you can participate, visit the PA Department of Community and Economic Engagement’s official EITC program page.

United Way: You may designate North Light Community Center as the recipient by marking the specific care section of the donor choice form with North Light’s name and code number, # 00091.

Combined Federal Campaign: You may designate North Light Community Center by using the universal code number, # 42579.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts: A memorial or tribute gift is an expression of love and respect to a friend or family member. These gifts may be placed in the fund of your choice. Tribute Gift honorees will be notified of your generosity in their honor.

Securities Donation: The transfer of stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares to the Center will provide much needed financial support. This can be done electronically or via mail.

Planned Giving: Supporters of North Light can guarantee that their generosity continues far into the future by providing for the Center through a Planned Gift. Planned gifts can be facilitated via wills, insurance policies, real estate, and charitable gifts.
