Seido Karate

Seido is traditional Japanese karate for students of all ability levels. Enhance your physical abilities, build strength and learn useful self-defense techniques in a class setting that emphasizes discipline, respect and moral character.

Cartooning Class for Children

Wednesday evenings, 5:30 pm -7:00 pm
Ages: 8-15
Cost: $60 per four-week session
Jan. 9 – Jan. 30

Students will use acrylic paint on canvas and apply a finishing gloss to their completed works on landscapes, pets, people, pop culture icons, and more.

Nate Walker is an expressionist painter who draws inspiration from popular culture and history. He created North Light’s mural facing Carson Street, to celebrate and embody the characters of our community.

Let’s Dance! Put on your red shoes…

Wednesday evenings, 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm
Jan. 9 – Jan. 30; series of 4 classes for $50

Let’s Dance! is geared towards 55+ folks but all are welcome! With movements derived from jazz,
modern music, ballet and musical theater, each class starts with an beginner 20 min. warm up and thera-bands for resistance training. You’ll learn choreography to songs from our “era.”

Renée is an award winning dancer/teacher/choreographer that has been a dance professional for over 30 years.

Ballet Barre Plus
with Renée Banson
Saturday mornings, 10:30 am – 11:15 am
Jan. 5- Jan. 26; series of 4 classes for $50

This class is geared towards beginners but will be a good work out for more advanced dancers as well. The class will begin with a short pre-barre warm up followed by a full ballet barre, small jumps and end with barre and floor stretching.

Renee Banson has taught all levels of ballet with a specialty in teaching beginners for over 30 years.
