Audi Willow Grove and North Light Community Center are pleased to invite any golfers playing in the Ninth Annual Golf Classic to participate in a unique and challenging tournament: the Audi quattro Cup.
The Audi quattro Cup Tournament series was established in 1991. German Audi dealers organized 51 tournaments with over 6,000 participating amateur golfers. In 2008 with more than 86,000 golfers worldwide, the Audi quattro Cup has grown to be the world’s largest tournament series in amateur golf.
The method of play for the Audi quattro Cup is twosomes using Best Drive Alternate Shot (Greensome Stableford Format). To be eligible to play in the United States Final, golfers must have an established handicap of no more than 36. If no handicap, golfers may play as scratch. The team handicap cannot exceed 56. Twosomes cannot have handicaps with greater than a 20-point difference between both golfers.
The winning twosome on July 20 at Whitemarsh will win a trip to Half Moon Bay, California to participate in the United States Final on September 14-18, 2009. The winning team(s) from the United States Final will have the opportunity to compete in the 2009 Audi quattro Cup World Final, December 14-18 at New South Wales Golf Club in Sydney, Australia.
